These versatile accessories are best used for large birds (although I use them on chickens) or roasts. They provide an extra secure fastening to the spit and prevent slippage and uneven cooking. They are heavy-duty steel (picture does not do it justice) and have oversized thumbscrews for easy tightening and release (a very nice feature). Nickel plated for stain-free durability and ease of cleaning. Dimensions: 6" x 4" and will handle up to a 3/8" spit rod.
