The 20" RD Special has quickly
become our most popular backyard smoker. The "RD" is loaded with
accessories and has a large enough cooking capacity to accommodate most weekend
chefs. Pictured above is the Marshal RD
Special model with many options and accessories standard.
The 20" RD Special Marshal is 20" in diameter
and has a 44" cooking chamber and 22" firebox. The standard equipment
includes a counter weight on the cooking chamber door for effortless opening,
two threaded ports for thermometers, a warming tray, sliding convection system,
and 20" wagon wheels. In addition, the 20" RD Special comes standard with
framed cooking grates in the cooking chamber and firebox, a heavy-duty
charcoal grate, and clean out tool for easy clean up of the firebox.
All Horizon products are custom built to your
specifications. Please review the option and accessory choices below and call us

depending on total weight and distance from the factory (Oklahoma) so we cannot

Basket
The Horizon charcoal basket is a great accessory for your firebox. The basket
holds plenty of charcoal and keeps it contained in the basket - not falling all
over your firebox. Available in three sizes.

Plate
The 20" drop-in Convection Plate fits all 20" Horizon smokers. It is made from
1/4" thick plate steel and eliminates "Hot Spots" during the slow smoking
process.

Cooking
Chamber Charcoal Grate (13" x 32")
This is what you would place at the bottom of the cooking chamber if you were
going to use the cooking chamber as a grill. It keeps the charcoal elevated,
provides airflow and prevents abnormal stress on the bottom of the chamber.

Clean Out Tool (Heavy Duty)
Although you get a cleanout tool with the basic unit, this is a heavy duty

Want a charcoal grate that will last for years? This heavy-duty charcoal grate
is built to last with 5/8" solid bar framing covered with expanded metal.

This industrial grade, stainless steel thermometer is a perfect fit for most
smokers. It is hermetically sealed, accurate, and has large numbers for easy
reading. The thermometer fits 13/16" smooth ports or 1/2" NPT threaded port.

Warming Tray
Add a Firebox Warming Tray to your smoker and you've found an additional use for
your smoker. The warming tray is perfect to keep water warm, or to warm up a
side dish. The warming tray is intended as an accessory to a new smoker
