If you are using our rotisseries to cook a large roast or whole animal, than
it pays to have a constant and accurate temperature read. This thermometer has
the added benefit of having two separate sensors- one for the internal
temperature of the meat and the other for the "ambient" or surrounding
temperature- each readable on a separate dial.
This thermometer features a non-skid covering and non-roll surface that can
withstand heat up to 500°F. Just insert probe thermometer into the thickest part
of the meat and make certain the tip is not touching bone, or metal.
