What makes this cooker worth $2,000?

• Structure - This unit is made of 10 gauge steel which gives it both longevity (no burnouts or rust-thrus) and better heat retention and temperature control (better results). The grill rods are made of 3/8" steel stock (check the size of yours) and the main grill grate weighs over 70 lbs.! The coal grates are as heavy as what you use for your fireplace and the unit has powder coated paint for long term durability.
• Versatility - There are a lot of good quality cookers out there. Some are smokers, some are grills, but very few are designed to do both (well). The Braten GS is a basic offset smoker  but it is also capable of grilling as well or better as any model on the market. Not only is the grill massive (see above), which means it will retain heat and sear with ease, but it is adjustable too, giving you the ability to control cooking temperature quick and easily. Try to find all these features on any other cooker in its class.
• Value - Sure you can buy a cheap BBQ cooker at a big box store for $300 or so. But how long will it last? How long will it be before is rusted out or burnt through?
