If you are using our
rotisseries to cook a large roast or whole animal, than it pays to have a
constant and accurate temperature read. This thermometer has the added benefit
of having two separate sensors- one for the internal temperature of the meat
and the other for the "ambient" or surrounding temperature- each readable on
a separate dial. If you are using a smoker, this gives you an accurate cooking
chamber reading close to the meat.
