When I am prepping food and doing a lot of knife work I am constantly washing my knife off. Certainly between different types of food, but also just to keep it clean for better performance. I usually keep a clean kitchen towel close by but it's too big and leaves some residue and sometimes doesn't absorb water that well. After some searching I finally found a great solution - a Microfiber pad and small towel that lets you dry all parts of your knife quickly and thoroughly. This is the same kind of material that is used in car detailing and will give your knife a clean, polished look each time. The pad also can be used as a temporary storage rest for the knife.
