Summer is a time for travel, vacation and fun. And that’s what the Grizzly Spit Combo Kit is all about. In one convenient package, you get everything you need to spark up an unforgettable meal outdoors.

At the heart of the Kit is the Grizzly Spit itself, a portable rotisserie you can set up on the beach, at the campsite – or just outside in the backyard. The battery-powered spit turns as much as 15 pounds – a party-sized feast – of beef, pork, poultry, lamb, fish and more. Constructed of commercial-grade steel posts and a three-foot steel crossbar, your Grizzly Spit is built for rugged outdoor adventure.

To get started, simply stake the upright posts over your fire site. Slip your food onto the crossbar and slide opposite ends through the uprights and into the motor. Secure your food with the two spit forks, then flick the motor switch, sit back and enjoy!

The Kit’s Fireplace Gloves make food and log handling a breeze. At 14" long and constructed of durable red leather (just like welding and blacksmith gloves), the Fireplace Gloves provide ample protection for your hands and wrists.

If you need to cook some fish (small whole, steak, or fillet) or meat chops, the rotisserie flat basket is a great option. Just place the food in the basket, press on the top (adjustable), slide onto the spit, tighten, and cook away.

Instructions for using the Grizzly Spit:

  1. Before each use WASH cross bar and spit forks in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and wipe dry.
  2. Drive the two vertical support poles into the ground, with a hammer, approximately 34" apart on either side of your heat source.
  3. Insert the battery powered gear reduction motor into slot on the vertical support pole.
  4. Slide the food to be cooked onto the square rotisserie cross bar and secure with spit forks.
  5. Insert pointed end of crossbar through eyehole in support pole, then BACK the other end into square opening on motor (mounted on second vertical support pole).
  6. FLIP THE SWITCH at the back of the motor and YOU'LL BE COOKING!
